The Black Cherry Fair 2007
The two pictures on this page, show Terry Pattinson (late of the Surrey Herald and Daily Mirror) in his new Town Crier costume. The costume was commissioned by the Chertsey Society as a replica to the one worn by three members of Blaker family between 1880 and 1940. The costume maker is Barbara Prowle with accoutrements by Victor Spink. Terry will be heading the Black Cherry Fair parade in this new outfit from Free Prae at 10.30am on Saturday 14th July 2007.
